Join Cathy Alsup, CFRE, Senior Director, Major and Planned Giving at the American Cancer Society for a tour of their new Hope Lodge in Honolulu. The Clarence T.C. Ching Hope Lodge is a free lodging facility for neighbor island cancer patients who must travel to Oahu for their cancer treatment. Open for just 6 months, the American Cancer Society’s $12 million dollar capital campaign for Hope Lodge took an entire community to complete and build the facility. 

Come learn the ins and outs of the capital campaign process, the successes and shortfalls, the phases of the campaign, stewardship of the donors, board involvement, and much, much more. 

We are encouraging all to carpool if possible (plus it's more fun!) as there is limited parking under the facility. Or street parking is also available.

You are welcome to bring your own brown bag lunch. AFP members and their guests only (space is limited). There is no cost for this event but RSVPs are required by registering online. Registration is due by Monday, August 28, 2017, 5pm.
